New year is coming, so what's plan you guys have for new year eve countdown? I don't have any plan for this year. Around Cardiff City Hall will be a fun fair, went there last year with my 146 Miskin Street housemates, quite happening actually, but it will be exactly the same this year, so shall i go again? nahh, don't think so!

I had a great Christmas celebration this year. Thanks to Amy who hosted a party at her house, get to enjoy how Christian celebrate Christmas. Before this I never really celebrate Christmas before, i treat Christmas as one of the public holidays, enjoy and relax at home and that's it.

My dad's birthday is a day after Christmas, which is on Boxing day. Since young, Christmas is just like celebrating my dad's birthday. We get excited because my parents' shop has a day off on Boxing day so it's more like a family gathering day for us to celebrate daddy's birthday.

Gillian and myself with pressents at Amy's house (^_^)

But this year it is totally difference, I get to taste my first turkey in my life. Yea, that's is my first time ever to test roast turkey, maybe i have had it before in restaurant, but it was part of the turkey and most importantly it is not Christmas (don't know why, my concept is roast turkey can only be eaten during Christmas, am I wrong?) - no photo for the turkey i ate, because i am not very close to the host, so i not dare to take too many photo in her house, basically i just know a few people she invited, so abit shy -

Surprisingly, i received a few Christmas gifts from friends this year. I am really happy. To be honest, this is my first time too to receive a Christmas gift. On Christmas eve, we celebrated, well as usual, eat Eat EAT, in JC's house. Just four of us (JC, Kun Seng, Gillian and me) but we did enjoy ourself very well, stuffed ourself so full with food, and then continue with chit-chatting and movies.

~ four of us ~
*/* see my small eyes? it was 2am in the morning, so that's why! */*

人家说,今年的圣诞节会下雪,我好期待,希望是真的。

但是,刚刚看了BBC News' Weather Forecast;

Heavy rain; Max day temp. 10 Celsius; Min night temp. 4 Celsius; Wind 17mph

唉,看来今年的圣诞是要在雨中度过了!

什么白色圣诞想也不用想了……

*扫兴*

据BBC Forecast, 26th Dec是晴天,呵呵, Boxing day叻,shop到爆!

I'm back from Portugal, but I'm not feeling well, both physically and emotionally.

I'm having blocked nose (running nose) and sore throat, my voice is hoarse.

I'm missing him so much now, esp in this seasonal period.

Photo will be up soon when I have the mood to write about my Portugal trip.

Stay tune, and at the same time;

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !!!

It has been such a long time that i didn't update my post here ...

have a great news to announce here, my chocolate cake had done perfectly last week, it was so so so great. i was about to give up (mind you i have thrown away 5 cakes because of failure) but then Gillian (my housemate aka coursemate) gave me lot of courage to give another try, and finally i have succeed. i even bake one for Michelle, as her birthday cake, and she said it is heavenly, i am so happy ...

i am now trying cookies, as what Ade said, christmas is coming so i should try cookies, and now i am trying, got a recipe from internet, about peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies, i tried it last night, but i couldn't get chocolate chips, so i baked peanut butter cookies. it was good as well, but the size and shape is not even, because i don't have a proper utensil for baking cookies.

i told my friends about my new found hobby, and they all laugh at me, Jacky even said at least it is better than last year (last year hobby was sleeping), arghhhhh ...!!!

ok enough for baking.

am happy also because i passed my pharmaceutical calculation test, which passing mark is 70% and i am lucky enough to score 80% hehe. another OSCE test coming up tomorrow, it's about drug taking history from patient who admitted to the hospital, had been practicing with Gillian just now, i got so nervous even i was practice with her, i know i will get even more nervous tomorrow, hope i can get it through without needed for any resit.

i have another week left for this semester, and off to Portugal (Lisbon and Porto) at the first week of our christmas break. am looking forward to this trip but getting more nervous because after this trip i will have hell lot of stuffs to do and then exam coming up very soon. OMG who can stop the clock for me???

anyway, here is my chocolate cake recipe, you may try if you want to;

Ingredient:
200gm flour (sieved)

70gm cocoa powder (sieved)
1 teasp baking powder
3/4 teasp bicarbonate of soda
1/8 teasp salt
300gm caster sugar
180gm butter (melted)

250ml milk

3 eggs (beaten)

Method:
1. Mixed together caster sugar and milk.
2. Add beaten egg, after that add sieved flour.
3. Add melted butter.
4. Add cocoa powder, soda powder, salt.
5. Pour into a greased baking tin. Pre-heated and bake at 280F for about 1 hour.

my advice: do not try to save money by using cheap flour or cocoa powder, because this will determine whether your cake is good or fail :p
