Last day of year 2006. Good Bye 2006 and Welcome 2007.

As usual, woke up at 11am, took my shower, had my brunch, called back home (once a week), then study study study .... What a good New Year Eve am having. Exam is coming in 2 weeks time, yet haven't prepare anything until now. Getting more nervous when time flies.

Many of you is asking what's my new year resolution, hohohoo, first of the first is to pass all the uncounted tests and exam in the year 2007 and future.

Was planning with house-mates what to do on the New Year Eve since days ago, and we planned to have dinner together (cook by SanKok, our friend in his house), then go to fun fair outside the city hall, countdown with the crowds and enjoy the firework together. But now, seems like 天不做美, has been raining and strong-est wind all day since morning. So not sure whether our plan is still on for tonight. Hopefully the rain and wind both stop later.

Pray hard, for tonight celebration and also for the exam :p

26th December - Boxing Day a.k.a. Shopping Day
Went to Cardiff City Centre shopping with housemates, Kar Eng, Jacky, Juliet and darling, at 10am. Lot of the outlets were still on Christmas holiday, only a few outlets open on the 26th. Went to River Island, GAP, ENVY, TopShop, BHS etc. Bought only two skirts and a top from River Island.

27th December - Shopping Day again, continue from yesterday
Woke up quite late today, after lunch, went out with Juliet and darling. We went to ZARA, NEXT, Disney store, Debenhams, La Senza etc. Bought two T-shirts from ZARA, pyjamas from La Senza, complete make-up set from Debenhams (this is for my youngest sis at home, as her birthday present).

Still looking for a pair of shoes/boots with high heel to match with my skirt, a handbag (been searching from River Island and ZARA and all the other stores but couldn't get a nice one).

Conclusion for the tiring shopping day: I am broke now :<

Merry Christmas to everyone. May all your wishes come true.

Have a lonely Christmas eve this year. Juliet and Kar Eng went out to celebrate together at Phoenix Garden (the restaurant where I used to work last semester), Andin is back in Malaysia, Jacky just reached home from winter holiday.

Juliet and darling suggested to cook something for our christmas eve dinner, and finally we decided to have a chicken night dinner instead of traditional turkey dishes as christmas eve dinner. So here's our dishes:

Only 3 of us, so lonely.! Can see clearly from the pictures we were "enjoying" so much among ourselves. *syiok sendiri*

Bought myself a christmas present from Venezia(Veniece), like it so much.
*Ade, dun get jealous nahh, blekkkk..!

How's my christmas present? Nice?

Called my sis this afternoon to wish them Merry Christmas since it is almost 12am in Singapore, they were celebrating happily and going to countdown for christmas at somewhere in Singapore, Bugis? Envy of them so much. Over here, there is no celebration at all. Lot of people will say celebrate christmas at oversea is great, but it's just the other way round. Cardiff seem like a dead city today, no vehicle on the road, no people on the street, nothing.!

Christmas is a family celebration for the ang-mo, so they all stay at home celebrate with family, no countdown in the pub/club, along the street like we have it every year in Bukit Bintang. So sad.

Waited until 12am and wish each other merry christmas in the kitchen (only 3 of us, jacky, darling and myself), then we came back to our own room. What's a pity christmas I ever had.

Woowooowwww
Having my chrirstmas break starting from now. Have just finished all my courseworks few minutes ago and am feeling really good now, R E L I E V E D ! ! ! End of my 2nd year 1st semester, left only the Autumn Exam which will be held after christmas holiday. Feel very very tired now but don't feel sleeping yet, coz tomorrow no lecture or lab session or workshop anymore. But still need to hand in all those courseworks in the afternoon.

Okie, back to my busy life few days ago. Have been busy working on the courseworks and preparing for test for the past two weeks. Good news is I've passed all the test, no need to re-sit.! Thanks for all the wishes you made to me in your heart :p

Back to 11th Dec 2006, it was our 3rd anniversary, we didn't have much celebration this year, mainly because both of us were busy with our courseworks. We only had dinner together at TGI's Friday (again), my favourite restaurant. This time darlinn pays for me. Hoorrayyy, thanks ya darlinn. There will be more anniversary celebration coming up in the future, so no worry on whether it is a big celebration or not for this year.
* I haven't upload the photo into my computer, so will only post up photo when it is done *

On the 12th Dec 2006, we went for ice skating in the winter wonderland Cardiff. This is my first time ever to try on ice skating. I used to watch (laugh at) others skate in Pyramid, Sunway, but I never have a try before. So lot of disaster happened during the skate. First I fell, but this is usual for a beginner, haha, I stood up and continue to skate. Surprisingly, I learn quite fast, I take up the skating skill easily but I don't know how to stop myself while skating (self-praising haha)

Then come 2nd fell which is more serious. I knocked my head on the ice surface. It was so painful. I was skating with my friend, we skate together and he guided me, but I couldn't balance myself well and as he was trying to hold me, we both fell. I was brought to an emergency room after that for medical check up. Just a few questions asked actually, and checked for the injury, I am OK. Get back to skate after 10minutes resting because don't want to waste my money :p but scare to fell again so just skate along the handle.

Good experience isn't it? My head still 'bengkak' until today. Haha. But I am sure I can skate well next time :p

Have I mentioned about my new Sony Ericson W810i handset? and yes, I got a new handset one week ago. This is my 5th handset I get during my stay in the UK, haha! It was a free phone given after I continue my contract for another one year. Free phone + free line rental (12 months) + free minutes. Good deal kan? I got too many phones and SE phone is not user friendly, so we decided to sell it on eBay, and we sold it this afternoon. Haha. We sold it at the price of 205 pounds. So excited to actually see others bidding on your item. We earned 205 pounds by paying nothing but it has to be divided between darlinn and myself :(

I am going to Italy soon. I am going to Venice and Italy this time, with eelaine and adelene and darlinn of course. We are leaving on the 16th (Saturday) to London and out flight to Venice is on the 17th early in the morning. Coming back on the 20th midnight, and will reach Cardiff on the 21st. Happy holiday to everyone.

Had my conversation test this morning, and I did really really seriously bad. I was too nervous until I can't remember anything during the test. My tounge was tied up and I couldn't speak well and clearly. Arggghhhh .... I hope I can pass this test, I don't like to re-sit.

The test was divided into 2 parts, responding to symptom and prescription counselling. I think I did quite OK for the prescription counselling, but I did really bad for response to symptom.

We were given 8 minutes to prepare for the test, which means to use the only 8 mins to read through Patient Information Leaflet and BNF, for the prescription counselling. Any extra time then will be used as preparation for respond to symptom.

I am really weak in respond to patient. Let's say during the test this morning, on the prescription counselling section. There is a label stated in the Patient Information Leaflet that do not take alcohol during the course of medication, and I told the patient not to take alcohol with the drug, she kept on bargaining with me to be allowed to drink a little alcohol. She said that she is having a birthday party at the weekend with friends and wants to drink a few cup of wine, I said no, you are not allowed, but she acted like very pity, so desperate to have a few sip. I think I am too cruel to actually say NO to her, but I did say NO, because this is not the real patient, and my marks will be deducted if I am kind enough to say YES to the patient.

How if there is the real patient in front of me acting the same thing? Can I be kind to give her exemption? or I have to be cruel to say NO just for her own health.

I got a patient with headache for my response to symptom section. I did quite well at the beginning, asking the WWHAM question as usual, but I missed out the last part which is M-medication. How can a pharmacist sell drug to his/her patient without asking is there any medication you are currently taking? Over the Counter medicine? Inhaler? Oilment or cream? There might be contra-indication between their current medication with the drug you are selling to them. Ohhh Gosh, I did a serious mistake, and I think I lost a lot of marks for not asking that. I might be killing a patient if this were a real situation.

The second mistake I've done during the test was, I was smart enough to think that headache must be the pain on the head. Why I wasn't smater a little bit to ask where exactly the pain is? Pain in different part of head may indicate different kind of headache. Argghhh, big mistake again. I didn't even ask how severe is the pain. :<

Now, the only thing I can do is to pray harder, so that I can pass. Wish me luck.

Friendship - part three
Junqi said she is curious to know who is this girl I was describing on, so should I mention the name over here? I think it isn't a good idea la since we are still friend to each other, and yes, just friend, normal friend, not good friend anymore. Qi, those upcoming post will make your mind clear of who is she that I was describing. Maybe this one will get you a lil' clue.

Someone asked me why I suddenly wanted to post this out since all this happened since really long ago. I don't know the reason as well, sometimes I think of all the lie she made to me, and a few of our closest friends, I just couldn't accept it, but I never speak it out infront of her that actually all of us know the truth, don't keep on telling lie to us. I treat you as my good, good-er and good-est friend, care of your feeling, try not to hurt you as much as I can, but what I gainned from this relationship is just a "beutiful-at-first-evil-at-the-end" lie. How would you feel if you were me?

To make the story more interesting (according to my dear sis), I should use a proper name to address this girl. In the previous post, I just mentioned her as "this girl", and for this post onward, will address her as ..... emm ..... no idea yet ..... maybe "Z", hope it won't confuse when you are reading.

This happened beginning of this year if I'm not mistaken. (Qi, this post mainly to make you clear of who is Z).

One day, I received a msg through MSN from Q, and she asked for Z's mobile number, So I gave her the number. I assumed Q did called Z on that day. Few days after this, when I was chatting with Z through MSN as well, and we were chatting about calling abroad, from UK back to Malaysia, I told her I got free minutes from my mobile phone service provider every months to make calls, so I call back home quite often. She replied, yes I knew that, because Q told me before (Q is not studying in the UK, I don't know how she relate this together), and she can always call back to malaysia by using the free minutes as well. She calls me quite often, like once in a week .... bla bla bla ...

I just keep quiet, never tell her that actually Q just asked her phone number from me 2 days ago, and how can Q calls her every week without knowing her phone number.

Isn't this is a stupid lie? She can just tell me Q called her 2 days ago, but why must she add another sentence, "she calls me quite often, every week" ....???

I wonder if making up own story is interesting? Why she can keep on creating lots and lots of untruth stories all the time? maybe she enjoy the process for that, thinking of new story, acted on it, and get really excited when I thought that her story is true.

This is my christmas tree.

Please feel free to view the site and leave me a message so that the message will hook on the tree as a christmas ball and make it colourful.

Anyone has any plan for their christmas party or vacation yet?

I'm going to Venice and Milan in Italy during the first week of my christmas break. On the chritmas itself, I think I will just stay at home and swallow all my lectures' notes to prepare for my Autumn Exam. Wish me luck, I really need lot of luck to survive.
