after exam mood.
It is only 6.18am now, but I am here blogging instead of sleeping. Surprise rite? I had been so tired last night but I just couldn't sleep for any longer. I went to bed at 9pm, called and talked to darlinn for half an hour, then doze off unconciously. Thought that I will only wake up at noon the next day, but to my surpsire, I woke up at 4am. Both my sis and darlinn have a wrong guess (Sis bet I'll wake up at 1pm and darlinn guess I'll wake at 12pm). Tried to get back to sleep but after 15mins I was still awake, so just get up and online, chatting with friends (2 of my friends actually having the same problem as me, woke up too early in the morning). We planned for a BBQ party tonight at Bute Park. We haven't sure who else will be joining us for the BBQ and don't even know is there anyone will actually free to join us tonight in such a late announce (we will be asking them at around 12pm). We don't care. We promised if only 3 of us turn out at night, the party is still on ;p We are just too free. Hopefully our BBQ party is fun tonight.

Merdeka.!
I am free now, totally free from exam stressed.! *YuPeeE* After exam, went to have lunch with my coursemates at Nondo's and then we went for a movie, we watched X-Men: The Last Stand. Actually our plan were to have some Italian food in a restaurant near to Cardiff Castle, but thanks to Alice's good memory, she couldn't remember which way to get to that particular restaurant. She claims that the Italian food over there is delicious and the price is reasonable, but after almost 45 minutes walking and searching for the place, we gave up.! I share a meal platter (one whole chicken plus one big side dish plus two bottomless soft drinks) with Alice. Thought that I will not feel full with just a half chicken (normally I eat half chicken plus 5 chicken wings plus two regular side dishes) and I was very hungry at that time, but to my surprise, I can't even finish the half chicken. What'd happened to me? I just have no appetite to finish my favourite nando's extra hot chicken. Maybe due to lack of sleepness, I have been struggeling hard throughout the night for my last paper, it just turns my appetite bad. After lunch, thought wanna get home to have some sleep but my friends insist of going for movie. I joined them. Although I am really sleepy but I didn't sleep in the cinema. *Good news for darlinn* He thought I will fall asleep in the cinema but he is wrong.! Reached home at 5.45pm just now but until now I am still sitting here online. This is the first time I force myself not to sleep, I never do this even during exam period. I don't know I will take how many hours to wake up later if I sleep, 10 hours? 12 hours? or more than that??

Lonely? Yes, I am.!
This is only the second day of being alone, yet I am seriously bored to death. I can't do anything other than sleep and study. What's a boring life.! Had been studying for Microbiology since I woke up. It is really a super dull subject to revise. Now I can forget all my Pharmacology (those drugs' name) and re-instore all the bacteria, virus, fungi, antibody, sterilization, etc etc, in my brain. I am still half way in my revision, hopefully I can finish everything before my last exam.!

Back to my loneliness, I hope darlinn is awake now to chat with me, but i doubt it. I said goodnite and sweetdream to him one and a half hour ago. So, I guess he must be in his sweet sweet dream right now.! I promised myself I will wait until he wake up tomorrow morning then only I will go to bed, just to chat with him before he starts his activity for the day. I will study throughout the whole night while waiting for him. Hopefully I won't fall asleep before he wake up la.! *grin*

Adventures.
Chat with one of my friends just now through MSN. When he hit this question: "Have you travelled around in UK?" I recall back where have I been to in this 9 months period...???

First destination was Sweden, went there during my winter break, together with darlinn, juliet, my sis and me. Went there for a 5 days 4 nights trip. This was my first time to travel all alone by myself (I mean we did all the planning and booking and travelling all by ourself, not following a tour). This was also my second custom stamp in my passport other than the one I had when I first came to UK. Most of the time, my sis was the guiding person, she did all the reseach and planned for our next destination every night. Thanks for that, sis.!

Second destination was Bath, in England. Went there with my sis, only 2 of us because darlinn was having his first semester exam and I had finished mine (I had only one paper to go at that time). Travelled around Bath by ourself too. We didn't do much preparation for this trip, just took all the information from Travel Information Centre when we reached there. We paid for the sight-seeing bus and use that as our transportation from one place to anothers.

Third destinations were Stonehenge, Avebury, Castle of Combe and Lacook (The Trust Village). Went there with my sis again during my sis' visit to Cardiff. We joined Mac and Mad tour (or something similar, I can't remember the name clearly). Apperently, we no nit to prepare anything before we travelled (I mean research for the interesting places). All the places we travelled here are actually countryside of Bath.

Forth destination was Birmingham. Travelled there with darlinn and stayed overnight in one of my friends' room. It was a nice trip as well, and the only thing make me wanted to go back to Birmingham again was the food. Yes, I mean food, the BBQ Buffet. I like that restaurant so much. It serves delicious food and the environment is nice too. Didn't do much research for this trip as well mainly because we have a friend who studying there, so he was our tourist guide.!

Fifth destination was Scotland. Went there with darlinn as well and stayed overnight in my sis' room. We went there during our Easter break. We took bus to London first and then from London to Galsgow. It was a long long journey. We travelled around Glasgow (where my sis is staying), Stirling and Edinburgh. We went for day trip in Stirling and Edinburgh. Day trip for Edinburgh is definately not enough. It has too many interesting places to go, so if you were to consider travelling to Edinburgh, make it at least 3 days or else you will regret. I've planned to go back to Edinburgh again when there is time.

Sixth destination was Paris. Took flight from Glasgow after our 4 nights stay in Glasgow. It was a 5 days 4 nights trip. Went there with my darlinn. We did quite alot of reseach before this trip and some of the informations were given by my sis (she went there during winter '04). Feel abit nervous and excited before this trip mainly because no any tourist guide for us anymore, we have to be the tourist guide and guide ourself throughout the whole journey. What's a good experience for me?

That's all my adventure trips during my stay in Cardiff in between this nine months. Is it alot or just a few? When I told my friend all the places I've visited, he was like: "OMG, what the Fu** is this, I thought you were only there for nine months?" I smiled. *speechless*

Can't wait for my next upcoming adventure trips to Berlin, Frankfurt, Pisa, Milan, Rome.! *my summer '06 trip*

Being alone.
Today onwards I have to learn to be independence for a week. Darlinn left me to his Field Study somewhere in south of London. Darlinn departed from Cardiff this afternoon, 2pm. Before darlinn depart, we went to have our breakfast and lunch in the city, Central Bar. I had BBQ Chicken Melt and darlinn had Beef Burger. Food is nice, but after this meal, I have to take my breakfast, lunch and dinner by myself. I have to cook by myself, wash by myself and eat by myself. Feel so lonely.! Darlinn just left me for few hours, but I have missed him so much. Luckily I still have to study for my last exam paper, this means I still got something to ENTERTAIN myself, won't get bored by being alone. My exam is finishing on this coming tuesday, 30th May. and I have another 2 days being alone, probably will just sleep and online. On the 1st June, my sis will reach Cardiff at around 10am. *Hoorayy* I no nit to be alone anymore since 1st June. We had already planned alot of activities, all of them are eat, eat and EAT.! Haha.! Maybe will do a lil' shopping as well. Darlinn will reach Cardiff on the 2nd June, around 8.30pm. Hopefully the traffic is not bad as today, so that darlinn can reach here on time.! Three of us will leave Cardiff on the 5th of June, and start with our adventure to Europe. This time we are heading to Berlin and Frankfurt in Germany, then to Pisa and Rome in Italy.! Can't wait for this trip to come anymore.! Happy Holiday to those who had already finished with their exams, and Good Luck to those who still doing the exams.!

PH1202 exam
PH1202 Principles of Pharmacology. This paper is really sucks.! It was so so tough until I can't even understand what the questions asking for. I ended up writing all the nonsense I had in my mind, with the limited knowledge of Pharmacology's principle. I've ignored my sleepness for the whole entire night, memorising and working on the uncomplete Pharmacology's notes, yet what I got this morning was a completely blank questions. I mean my brain was blank due to the tough questions and not my sleepiness. I was 100% awake during the 3 hours exam, my eyes was so round and big after looked into the exam questions.

Here's a little part of the principles of Pharmacy:
When you get shock, this will lead to sympathetic response. This type of response causes the pupils in the eye to dilate so that more light can enter and the ciliary body relaxes to have a far view. Sweat gland in the skin will increase sweating. Pilomotor in the skin will undergoes piloerection and the hair on the skin will stand.

Okie, due to all these sympathetic responses, it helps me to stay awake during the 3 hours exam. Of course the nescafe I drank is effective too.

Pharmacology sucks!
It's 4am now, but I'm still here consuming my Pharmacology. The taste is sucks. Really, believe me.! Still left 5 hours to my exam, and I didn't finish study yet, not even 50% I can say. Just drank a cup of nescafe, hopefully it helps to make me stay for the whole night til I finish my exam later at 12pm.
[Sympathetic, Parasympathetic, Atropine, Propranolol, Local Aneasthetic, Agonist, Antagonist, Partial Agonist, Irreversible Antagonist, Competitive Antagonist, Acethylcholine, Adrenaline, Synaptic, bla bla bla...] Look like I'm very familiar with all this terms (I should!) but I just familiar with the term, not the concept.! Exam definately won't ask for the term. They ask for the concept, mechanism, pharmacological effects, mode of actions etc etc. But I don't know the answers for all.
Laine, please give me some tips on how you survive in Pharmacy degree? Pharmacology really kills me. I hate it so much. Hope I can pass this paper. I'm going to memorise all the shit now. Wish myself all the best.

PH1115 exam
Had my third exam paper this morning, 9am at Great Hall in Student Union. 100% satisfy with the exam venue because it is just few meter away from my room. I need not more 5 minutes to reach there, so I left my room at 8.40am this morning. Same to previous paper I had before, I only took a few our 'nap' before my exam, just to try my best to do the final revision before the exam is over. Today's paper is the 'easiest' paper I had compared to the last two papers. Most of the exam's question is from past year exam paper, yet I still worry of my grade, because I was not very confidence in some of the answers I had wrote. So, now just aim for a B's instead of A's. Anyway, I shouldn't be thinking on the past paper, I should focus in my upcoming paper, Principle of Pharmacology. I haven't finish my revision for this module. I am so nervous now. How can I memorize all of the points in one day? *God Bless*
By the way, darlinn had finished his exam today. Envy of him. He went for movie this afternoon and now he's in the cinema again, watching the second movie in a day. I can't join him *sob sob*

Congrate to...
On the 22.05.2006 (today) at 11.41am, my N70's screen showed: "you have 1 new message". Opened and read the message. It's from HER, she wrote: "Heh, I m done. I finish my degree le! Heehee.. I going to burn all my note soon! Haahaa.." I replied: "Congrate..."
Yeah, very much congrate to HER again here, wish you all the best in your future, ie career. Hope you can get a high paid job as soon as possible. Do enjoy yourself during this free from school and work period.
I am really envy of HER so much, at least she doesn't need to attend any lectures, rush for the uncompleted assignments, and the important thing here, SHE doesn't need to sit for any exams anymore. *Hooraayy*
I still got 3 more papers to go, 23rd, 25th, and 30th of May. Wish myslef and all those who are having exam lot lot of luckss. *Gambate*

[The Da Vinci Code] What's a perfect movie to be watched. Watched this movie with darlinn this evening after our exam. It was so many people in the cinema to watch this film. Lucky we got our ticket earlier (before dinner), because darlinn wanted to get a copy of this week's movie show time, and we scare if we come after dinner for the ticket, it may be sold out. We guess it correctly, when we reached there at 7.30pm (7.45pm film start), it was full with people. Must say "people mountain people sea". This film was show in Screen 9, which has the largest room, but it was already 90% full. I was so shocked to see so many people in the cinema already. We are lucky to get a middle seats although we are quite late compared to others. Actually there was two seat which have not been taken in the middle, as both side of the seat occupied by different group of people. So, we are LUCKY! Part of story was quite confusing, maybe because I haven't read the novel before, so found it a little hard to understand. Darlinn had bought this novel but I just read for few pages and don't feel like going to continue it, haha. I am a lazy girl. Maybe one day when I am too boring then I'll read it *hope so*

PH1106 exam
Had my second paper this afternoon at 1.00pm, PH1106 Social and Professional Pharmacy. It is a 2 hours paper which I need to answer 5 questions all together. The venue for this paper wasn't that bad as my first paper. It is half the journey to the venue of my first paper. It took me around 30mins to walk there. Not bad not bad.!
Nothing much to say on this paper too. Just pray hard I can pass with flying colours. Didn't do really well, and some of them had lost in my memories, so I just made my own solution up, hope I've made a logical guess this afternoon.! Last night when I was chatting with my coursemate through MSN, I told him to read for RPSGB (Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain), it may be come out in our exam. I hit this question, it really came out in today's exam (just the first question of all). Too bad, silly me didn't memorize the answer.! I wrote everything down on a piece of paper few weeks ago and plan to memorize it a day before exam, but I forgot.! Oww, so I ended up writting what I knew in the answer sheet, hopefully it still can gain some points. *pray pray* For other questions, just like normal, some can do and some couldn't remember the points. It's normal for a student to forget some points that they have read rite? I'm forgivable *借口*

PH1114 exam
My first exam is over this morning. I had my PH1114 Introduction to Medicinal Chemistry this morning at 9am. My exam venue is so far away from my home (it's the same venue as my last autumn exam). It took me 45 mins to reach there by No.11 bus (walk). I just have a short nap last night due to the preparation for the exam. I slept at 2.45am and woke up at 4.30am. Not even 2 hours ??? Keep on memorizing all the mechanism of reaction after I woke up, looked through all the past year papers again, and memorized some of the definitions. But, guess what? Non of today's question is from past year.! Sucks.! Just a few questions were asked to show the mechanism of reaction which I'm quite expert in (after memorizing for hours), only one question asking on definition. The rest of the question were something out of my mind. All of all, I still manage to do >50% of the question. Thanks God.!
After exam I was really exhausted. Feel so sleepy until can feel like my eyes couldn't open anymore. Even during the exam I felt so but just force myself to concentrate into the paper. (I dare not drink coffee before I went to exam because I scare I will be very energetic even after exam). I took cab back to my home after my exam because I really lazy to walk anymore plus it was raining outside. Another 45 mins walking?? No No No!!! It's not THAT expensive if you were to share a cab with others, but I'm alone, so I must pay by myself without sharing.!
The first thing I did when I reached home this afternoon was: turn on the computer and start online.! I never do that before since I came to UK =p Now my room already had internet connection, hooraayyy.! Finally I get to wait till this moment. Too bad the CD they provided for us to install the software is only suitable for English version of Window XP. My computer is run on Mac OX4. So I can only use darlinn's laptop to online for this moment and wait until my exam is over then only can bring my laptop for registration in the Information Centre. This precious moment can only last for 3 weeks from now because I am moving out on the 5th June. Apperently, the internet connection is no longer can be used after this date.
Ok, did I mention I was super duper exhausted after exam? Oh ya, I slept for the whole afternoon and woke up at 6pm. Energy level is 100% now.! Got to study for the upcoming paper, PH1106 Social and Professional Pharmacy, but I am just too lazy to start my revision now. My reason is: I need to relax first before starting with another module. *slap myself*

I was half way studying when darlinn passed me the latest Cineworld's film times (12 th to 18th May). Took a glance on it as I was half way memorising [blood clotting process], which is one of the topic of Pharmacology. So surprise to notice that I haven't watch most of the film listed down in the leaflet. It used to be only the latest film which is out on that week that I haven't watch but now there is list of films that is waiting for me to watch. What'd happened? All just because of the upcoming examination.!

The film that I've watched from the list:
Mission Impossible Ш
Slither
Ice Age 2: The Meltdown
Silent Hill
She’s The Man
The film that I haven't watch in the list:
Prime
Confetti
When A Stranger Calls
Initial D – Drift Racer
Love + Hate
The Magician
Three
16 Blocks
American Dreamz

Another upcoming film next week:
The Da Vinci Code
X-Men: The Last Stand
The King
Waiting

Woww, it's clearly shows that I got lot of film to catch up after my exam, but are they still on screen after 30th May? Hope so ...

Today, 10th of May;
Exam, 17th of May;
Countdown to exam, exactly a week left.!

My hp monthly allowance left 600 anytime minutes and 200 text messages. I have to finish it by today, because after today, I will change my tariff to £20 a month and all the minutes and texts will gone. I will be given 1000 off peak minutes and 100 text messages after today. So, to used up as many minutes and texts as I can before tomorrow, I started to send MMS instead of SMS to my sis, because 1 MMS I sent is equal to 4 SMS I wasted. So this is a faster way to waste it. I called back to Malaysia frequently, called to chat with my parent and my friends. Called to Singapore to chat with my younger sis. Called to Australia to chat with friends again. Woww, I have too many friends to call actually but I'm so busy, busy with my studies everyday. If now weren't exam period, I think I will finish all the minutes by calling friends or family.

Hot Vs Spicy
Something wrong to my toungue just now, I can't taste the food we cooked for our dinner. We had Nasi Goreng Belacan with Tom Yum soup for our dinner, both the food suppose to be hot and spicy but it tasted nothing for me, what'd happened to my toungue?
Maybe last night had too spicy food already, 麻辣火锅, prepared by Amy. Thanks gurl for preparing such a nice and delicious dinner for us. As she said, our exam is coming soon, so wanna do something to build up our immune system? or something good for health la, I can't remember clearly, so that we can fight for our exam with all our energy. Once again, thank you very much.! Back to the 麻辣火锅, it was really hot and spicy, poor juliet can't take spicy food, so she was suffering when I was enjoying so much.! Don't worry, I think she still enjoy herself very much by adding soya sauce to the food. Haha.! Syiok sendiri.! Oh ya, not syiok sendiri, my darlinn also can't take too spicy food, so both of them ate the food with soya sauce. Waahaahaa... Pity them.!

Spring '06
It's spring now, but I am wondering why it wasn't windy plus a little cool as I always seen from the movie. The scenery is really good, I admit this, with all the colourful and beutiful flowers all over, especially in the park. All the trees is covered with beautiful flowers, red, pink, white, beige, purple in colours. On the ground, the yellowish flowers grow on the grass, nice and bright+sharp colour of Tulip in the park, Lavenders all around esp road side. You can see everyone is hanging around or picnic in the park. Laying down on the ground and do whatever they like, sleeping, studying, chit-chatting, eating, etc etc. I like to see them gather in a small group and study on the ground. It's fun and looks really like university student life. I wanted to try once too but have no chance, no one accompany me here.
The only thing I would like to complain over here is the hot weather. Why is it so hot nowadays? No more wind or cool weather. The temperature is extremely high I guess. 20˚C? 25˚C?? I can just go out with my T-shirt with jeans. I wish I have a short pant with me here, then I can wear that now. The worst thing is during night time, when I am super tired after my revision in the library for half of the day and wish to have a good rest after all the *hard work*, I just couldn't sleep well cause it is too hot. Open the window widely but still the same, cause outside don't have any wind at all. I seriously hope I can get a fan here, but I'm not sure whether the university allows us to have an electronic fan in our room. Got a little feeling of *winter time* is the best, I really prefer cold than hot weather.

Toni & Guys
Don't really know what's wrong with me today. Suddenly think of having a hair cut, so made a call to Toni&Guys to make an appointment, and I got the appointment at 5pm from a Director Stylist. Actually is my darlinn's *fault*, he is the one who says want to go for a hair cut, cause he can't stand with his long and messy hair anymore, then he called to Toni&Guys to make an appointment. I started to think of this: "my hair is in a mess too, it's too long and the hair ending is spoilt, why not go for a hair cut too.." Then I called my sister to ask for her opinion, and she agreed with me. So I called to Toni&Guys to make my appointment, wishing that their appointment for today is fulled, and I can save up my money for not going for the hair cut. But it is not. *disappointed* :p
I still maintain my hair style but get it abit shorter, about shoulder length. Erm, still not happy with the length causeI want it to be shorter actually, but I have asked the stylist to cut it shorter for at least 3 times, I don't dare to ask for shorter anymore, I scare she will scold me for this. Haha. So just accept it. My head is lighter now, finally get rid of my long and messy and spoilt hair, hopefully it improves my mood of studying from now onward.
The most important thing is the price of getting a hair cut over here. This is the only problem which stopped me from cutting my hair since last year. But today I am odd, I didn't think much other than just counting my money to make sure I have enough cash in hand. It cost me £38.25 after 15% of student discount. Before discount is £45. Very expensive iziz? If converted back to Ringgit, I can have a hair cut + wash + blow + treatment + rebonding with that amonut of money, abit pain in my heart now. At least I still happy with this hair cut, thanks God.
After all, I personally prefer Miko in Subang Jaya more than Toni&Guys in Cardiff. I never been to Toni&Guys in Malaysia, so don't know whether it's the same as the one in UK??

Stressed.!
Haven't been blooging for such a long long time since my last updated at here few days ago. Had been busy with my revision. Didn't do much revision though, day dreaming more than studying.! My exam is coming soon, I am so nervous now, seriously don't know what module to start first. Lot and lots of notes to study, I had been thinking of to give up for quite sometimes..
I got 5 subjects to sit for in my final examination. I've roughly read through 2 of the 5 subjects. Guess what? When I was doing the past year examination paper, I was so so blank.! Chemistry is still ok but Physical Pharmacy is really killing me. Even though I have studied all the notes, and memorised all the *useless* Physic equation, it didn't seem useful for me, I still don't know how to do all the questions, not even one of them. God! I'm getting mad with myself now.! Nothing much I can do for this module right now. So sit back and pray hard is the only thing I can do.
Now I'm revising another *headache* subject, Social and Professional Pharmacy, what the hell should I study for this? Alot to memorise, and of course it is hard to memorise. All the diseases, symptoms, drugs, law, communication skills, etc etc .. Aighss, don't want to care much, just hope that I am able to finish all the topics before exam, and I can still remember all the points I've memorised until the exam paper is overed. Another Pharmacology and Microbiology's notes to go, and I left only 2 weeks time. Can I finish all my revision before exam? I doubt it..
