First post of the year :p
So, the weather in the Cardiff came out to be what we wish for, no rain but still a little windy. It's so lucky that the rain stop just before we went out. Thanks God. Reached San Kok's house at almost 8pm. Started our super delicious dinner at 8.30pm. A big big thanks to San Kok, Kelvin and Chong for tonight dinner, they are the chef.

Above is the dishes for our New Year Eve dinner, again thumb up to the 3 chef. We had fried chicken, fried onion ring, fried meehoon, butter prawn (奶油虾), cheesy wedges and cheesy mash potato. All of them is good. Really. Love all of them except for the onion ring as I don't take onion. The butter prawn is super delicious, imagine I never touch/eat prawn at home but I like this very much, and I had 4 prawns tonight, hehe.

We actually went to the fun fair first before the countdown, there was quite crowded. Juliet and Kar Eng went for the wild ride, but all of us refused to join them. Haha. At 11.50pm, we walked to the city hall which is just few steps away from the ride. Squeezed into the crowd to move ourself nearer to the stage.
Suddenly heard the DJ shouting "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 Happy New year!" Of coz we joined the shouting. After the ".... Happy New Year!", to our surprise, there was no fireworks display. We were like "why no fireworks? then what for we come all the way here? why so weird?" and all the dissapoinment showed in our face. After few minutes only the fireworks were light up. No idea what'd happened to the fireworks, but we do enjoy it very much.
God had made the good timing. One minute after the fireworks end, there came the super strong wind plus heavy rain. We all get wet although we have umbralla. No choice, we have to leave the crowd to get home faster. *Dissapointed* Imagine Juliet and me were wearing sleeveless top and only with a thin jacket plus short skirt, we were shivering like hell. 女人爱美不要命 this phrase is quite true also, at least for us.
