It's Friday night, i was suppose to get out of the house and enjoy the night, but i am tired now. I am like a dead pig now, couldn't move at all after spending all day in the lab. Mind you, it is really tiring to stay all day in the lab, from 10am to 6pm, with only an hour break in between. I love to play with all the lab instruments, but i started to hate it now. My stupidness and carelessness slow down the whole process, i kept repeating the same thing because of the careless mistake. What more to have a not-very-supportive-supervisor. OK at least it is Friday now, i have the weekend off, will fully enjoy the weekend, i need to sleep more, i am tired, really tired. 

That's basically how i spent my CNY in Cardiff *sob sob*

Pre-CNY celebration
24-01-2009 Chinese Christian Church in Cardiff organized a pre-CNY celebration in the church, and I was invited by my fellow friends to attend. We had steambot. 

Our table. Nothing beat steambot especially in this cold weather. It is so warmth to have fellow Chinese friends around to celebrate CNY in this western country.

This is Brian Wee, our all-time-cameraman, he is posing with his favourite tau fu pok! and yes, he is another Kelantanese in Cardiff, we came from the same school!!!

This is Janet Kan, from Tawau, and it was her birthday, she is the all-time-poser!

Anyway, i had a great time celebrating CNY in Cardiff. This is the forth year i am away from home during CNY. I will definitely go home next year, I can't wait to go home now! We went to Bristol on the 26th Jan (Monday) to have our CNY dinner. The food was seriously good! Will upload more photo later. 

I hereby wish everyone had a great CNY off and may the year of Ox brings you lot of happiness, healthiness and wealthiness. All the best for the year ahead! My new year is ruined by the relationship problem, so my CNY resolutions are to be happy, forget the past and stay tough and strong always. Bless me!

Yeah it is my final paper tomorrow. Will fully enjoy myself after tomorrow's OSCE. But but but, i am seriously out of mood to revise. Had been doing all the nonsense right after Monday's exam, sleep, watch movie, out with friends, cinema etc etc. Gosh, i left a few hours time to prepare only, it's 6.30pm now and exam at 12pm tomorrow! 

Well, will definitely force myself into revision mode after this post :p

I went to watch Twilight in the cinema yesterday. The story was OK, but i hate the ending, where the bad vampire came out, and the word THE END shows. It means i need to wait for a few months or even years to wait for second part of the story. Arghhh! 

We went out again with friends to had a farewell lunch this afternoon at Happy Gathering Chinese Restaurant, had dim sum, yeahh!! Waa i was bloated, guess i can skip my dinner now as i am still feeling full. Then i went to cinema again with gillian, we watched Bride Wars. Great movie. Highly recommended. Waaa i really need to catch up with movies in cinema, been missing out quite a few of great movie lately due to exams! 

More activities coming up tomorrow after exam, yeah can't wait to enjoy ~ But sad thing is, i don't have any day off for CNY! I need to start my final year project on the 26th Jan, which is the first day of CNY, sad sad sad ~ i'm looking forward to CNY 2010, haha, i finally can go home to celebrate CNY after 4 years of being away from home. Next year CNY falls on 14th Feb 2010, yeah!

pre-exam's feeling
for the very first time in my life, this is the most relaxing exams i'm going to sit for. not really relaxing, but i just have nothing much to revise, it's still stressful even though i have nothing much to revise, stress because i feel so guilty for not revising, but the fact is i have nothing to revise. Oh maybe i have, but just LAZY! 

I'm having my first paper tomorrow at 9am, but i'm still here blogging. was on skype with my two lovely sister, then on you-tube, then on the phone with darling, then again back to facebook, and now blogging ... what a relaxing pre-exam period i have.

for all my juniors, i'm so sorry for you, esp Sandra, because you have 2 papers to sit for this week, and they are not easy at all. all the best to you. altho i'm having two exams as well this week, but .... aiksss ... you will understand my feeling when you come to final year! :p

for all the previous exams i had in my life, the day before any exams is the most critical time, i got so stressed up, burrying myself either in library or in my room just to finish memorising all the notes, and got even stress and panic when time passed, as i know i've no much time left yet with the never-finish notes i have ... waa ... thinking back to my third year exams, that was really horrible. but again i salute myself for passing it! 

ok i really need to concentrate now! all the best to everyone who are sitting for exams. hope you guys sleep well tonight and we will fight for tomorrow's and upcoming exams together. take care and good luck!

happy birthday to you ...

Happy Birthday to you my dear cha-boh! Hope you do enjoy your BIG day. Must always take care nah, getting old already so must 正經 abit nah, don't always so "kong-kam kong-kam" liao! May all your dreams come true la, and wish you have a wonderful day always, must take care ya, don't stress too much! oh ya and also, eat more ok, we aim for 60kg as one of our new year resolutions. 

Tell you all noh, this kong-kam cha boh called and scolded me for not picking up her call last night, padahal she called to my previous landline number, and I have moved to this new house since september last year. sweat! next time don't be so blur d nah!!! :p

eh we took this photo in Aug 2007. i was having curly hair and yours were straight, but now terbalik liao :p haihh 世事難料 too many thing happened unexpectedly, so must enjoy all the happiness you have now ok! also thanks for everything ... muacksss love you lotss!

saw this picture while checking my back-dated mail. from left: eelaine, leeli, yongwei, siewfang, juliet, yingyee, myself, and siongooi my darling behind me.

we were so young back then. was having small gathering with my fellow gang back in KB. i miss you all so much ~ i definitely need to organise a big big gathering when i'm back in KB for the next holiday.

gosh look at them, they are all graduates now and started working last year, or last two years, and i am still here studying. not fair!! i can't wait till i finish my course in july this year, and join them as a working lady :p

Saw this in BBC news few minutes ago. 

First snow of the year has fallen across England, how about Cardiff? 

It is so freezing cold in Cardiff since Christmas last year, and the temperature sat below zero all this while, but where is the snow? 

This year is the coldest winter I had ever experienced in Cardiff. Minimum temperature goes down to negative five degree celsius. Still hoping to see the snow for the last time in Cardiff.

Was half way reading my BNF, our so-called pharmacy bible, darling and Juliet who being evil called it my book of feng-shui. 

(It is actually a book that provides an up-to-date information on medicines to all the health care professionals in the UK.)

Recalled this: 
difference between a doctor and a pharmacist.

Doctor: (holding a bottle of medicine) nah, take this to ease your symptoms.
Patient: how do i take it?
Doctor: open your mouth and swallow it.
Future Pharmacist: ... take over the bottle and read out loud the instructions written on the bottle ...
Patient: thank you.

I am proud of myself  :p
