Last day of 2008. It is quite sad that a year had gone ...
Jan 2008. Was preparing for autumn exam (and it is the module that I got the best mark amongst my third year exams :p), first exposed to hospital pharmacy environment by going for a two and a half days hospital placement and found out that I like to be a hospital pharmacist very much.
Feb 2008. 3rd year of being away from home during CNY. Miss home so much esp during festive season. Was busy applying for hospital summer vocational placements, and finally got a place in Prince Philip Hospital.
March 2008. Received good news from darling that he is coming to UK for a short term work. Met with darling in Nottingham and enjoy being together again after 5 months of separation. Also went to London with Gillian over the weekend and we did have a great time spending together. Sound of Music theater performance was so great, it was my first time being in the theater.
April 2008. Celebrated darling's birthday in Nottingham and mine in Cardiff. Started revision for the upcoming final exams. Was having a hectic life back then, spent most of the time in library, from afternoon till late night.
May 2008. Level of stress increased to the max nearer to exams time. At least all the hard work get paid by seeing the smiley face on me after each papers. My family members were even worried than me even tho it was me who sit for exams and not them. Post-exam celebration was great, not a real celebration tho, but enjoyed every single moment just relaxing. Packing time was not fun tho.
June 2008. Yeah got to meet with darling again. Stayed with him in Nottingham for 2 weeks. Started Boots placement in Oxford on the 16th of Jun. Have a lovely time there and most importantly I have learnt alot of pharmacist role during the placement. I am lucky that I've got bunch of lovely and friendly colleagues and tutor.
July 2008. Nothing special happen. Was still working in Boots. Went to London with gillian on one of the weekends to chill out.
Aug 2008. Finished the 8 weeks placement with Boots. Started the 2 weeks placement with Prince Philip Hospital. Found out more about hospital pharmacists' role and responsibility. Was on the flight on the 24th Aug flying back to Malaysia. Time flies. Missing that moment.
Sept 2008. My second "honeymoon" trip with darling. First is Paris which was on Spring 2006. This time we went to Bali, Indonesia. All fully sponsored by my love. Thanks darling! Had family gathering first in Singapore, then KL, then KB. Was spending my greatest time with family and darling and friends. Back to UK on the 28th Sept.
Oct-Nov 2008. Uni started, busy time, lot of courseworks, presentations, project etc etc. Busy busy busy.
Dec 2008. Holiday season YEAYYY! Final coursework submitted on the 12th, went to Birmingham on that evening, stayed two night in Birmingham and left to Prague on the 14th. There was seven of us: Janet, Hui Ann, Kenneth, Caroline, Gillian, Alice and myself. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Follow by Christmas. Had lots of party with friends, and of course eaten alot too, omg!
That's all I did in year 2008. Such a loser ... But I did have lovely and memorable time in year 2008. Thanks to everyone that makes my life brighter and filled with colours. I love you guys lot.
Year 2009. What can I do to make it more meaningful?
